Great experience with GIRASSOL! We especially appreciated that all the cars are automatic, which makes driving on Madeira so much easier. Even in peak season, we managed to find a car, and it was clean, well-maintained and worked perfectly throughout our trip.

The staff were also really friendly, professional and helpful. Everything was easy and stress-free. Definitely recommend GIRASSOL if you're renting a car in Madeira! 🌴

I can extremely highly recommend Girassol to anyone looking to rent a car in Madeira. The entire experience was exceptional, especially for a first time renting a car abroad. The team are really responsive and friendly on WhatsApp, and were enthusiastic about us having a great holiday. Girassol made the whole rental process smooth and seamless. The car we rented (an automatic Seat Ibiza) was in top condition and handled Madeira's most difficult mountain roads with ease, as well as being a pleasure to drive. Everything was clearly explained, the prices were reasonable (we opted for the full insurance), and we felt we could trust them fully throughout the booking. The team are a credit to themselves and to the beautiful island of Madeira, and we are very grateful to everyone at Girassol for a wonderful time. Obrigado!

Excellent car rental experience!

Everything was smooth and easy from start to finish. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The car was clean, in great condition and perfect for exploring Madeira.

The whole rental process was quick and straightforward, with no hidden surprises.
We had a great experience and would definitely rent from GIRASSOL again on our next visit to Madeira.

Everything was spot-on from the very beginning. Communication via WhatsApp prior to the rental was excellent. Both the car handover and the subsequent drive went smoothly; the vehicle was well-maintained and in good condition. A definite plus was the detailed explanation of local traffic rules. The staff were very helpful and also recommended a good, affordable parking spot near the very center of Funchal.
I definitely recommend it.
