I recommend the Girassol rental company. Good contact, minimum formalities. We rented a Seat Ibiza. The car is well-kept, clean and technically efficient. The machine is a bull's-eye. Seat bravely drove us around the island without any problems.

We rented an automatic car for a week with the GIRASSOL rental agency. Nothing to say, everything was perfect; from booking to handing over the car. We rented a Seat Arona with full insurance. It's a great, economical, manoeuvrable and easy-to-drive car, very convenient for a company of 5 people. Since Madeira has difficult roads, it is very important to choose the right car. Thanks to Ivan for his help in choosing a car and easy, accessible communication throughout the rental period. The company's employees also keep track of their clients' flights, when we arrived a little earlier than the specified time, the car was already waiting for us at the airport, which was especially nice.

Helpful, friendly service and a great little car for exploring Madeira. They only do automatics but this is fine as it was my first time driving a left hand drive car so I was glad not to worry about gear changes on all the mountain roads as well. The car was clean, comfortable and in excellent condition. Would highly recommend to others and use them next time we visit!

We received fantastic service, both during our reservation and upon arrival. They waited for us after a two-hour flight delay. The car was in perfect condition and very clean, even the tires! The car was delivered quickly and on time. Highly recommended and the prices were competitive.

Renting a car is as easy as you wish it was everywhere. The service is really good and the cars are new and more importantly clean. We will use this as a benchmark for car rental in the future. You can't go wrong renting a car here.

I really liked the communication with the company, my flight was delayed for 3 hours, after I arrived at the airport within 10 minutes a girl arrived and brought a car, the car was in excellent condition with a full tank, after 5 minutes I could already drive and enjoy the views of the island, the company is excellent, I will recommend it to all my friends who are planning to come on vacation, the car, despite the fact that it had a 1 liter engine volume, felt great throughout the entire island, thank you very much again) and most importantly; I didn't leave any deposits for the car as other companies require, I bought full insurance for 15 euros per day and enjoyed my holiday

We were staying close so we decided to rent the car from the office and not the airport. The bolt or taxi from the airport was cheaper than the extra day+ off hours fees ( we were arriving late). It took maybe 10 minutes to pick up and 2 to return. The car looked brand new and was impeccably clean. Great experience without any problems.

Great price, walking distance from riu Madeira hotel, no deposit and full insurance. We booked an automatic at no extra cost (red Micra). It was a pleasant drive, very easy collection and drop off. They also provided a suitable phone dock for an extra 5€. I would recommend going with this company as a local place, the cost was very cheap compared to alternatives in Funchal which were 600€ more for a manual!!!
