Volta à Madeira em Bicicleta

The 51st edition of the Bike Around Madeira will once again follow its original route, covering 232 km in six stages over five days. Cyclists will pass through all the island’s municipalities, according to race director Vítor Jesus. The challenge was launched last year by the regional director of sports. Regional Director David Gomes thanked the Madeira Cycling Association for its commitment to organizing this iconic regional cycling event, emphasizing the organization’s efforts to extend the event to all municipalities on Madeira Island. The sports director emphasized that 2026 marks the Autonomous Region of Madeira’s 50th anniversary of autonomy.

The race begins on the 15th of July and ends on the 19th, on Sunday. Registrations must be made by July 5th, either on the website or at the AC Madeira office, located at the Funchal Olympic Swimming Pool Complex – Beco dos Alamos, Santo António, 9020-021, Funchal.
